The whole of somebody's personal possessions. Typically an estate sale is used when there are large quantities of quality items (vehicles, furniture, appliances, jewelry, antiques, art work, and down to kitchen utensils).

Estate sales are open to the public. Resolution estate organizes, prices, advertises, and then hosts a public sale with the goal being clearing the entire house of items.

LIQUIDATION SALE:

Liquidations are used in situations where a full estate sale may not be as suitable (remote location, privacy concerns, H.O.A. restrictions, time restraints)

In a liquidation, items are evaluated and dealers & buyers are called in who specialize in quality items.

There are many reasons for having an estate/liquidation sale; downsizing, moving, separation, divorce, assisted living needs or loss of a loved one.
